Thank you for visiting Lorega Diaries. This blog is all about the stories in Lorega, a depressed community located in Cebu City in the Philippines. It aims to document the little by little transformation of this community – another hungry child that is fed and cared for in the programs of the Loving My Neighbor Student Center (a Compassion International assisted project), families that are restored and given hope and finally, individuals that are empowered to break free from the cycle of poverty and helplessness.
